Each transition introduces a different break point. A noncustodial swap can protect possession while an allowlist limits discovery. A mobile release can widen access while separating an account from its desktop history. A creator pack can increase production while leaving unclear which rights travel with the finished object. Night Ash will not call an item portable until identity, permission, provenance, and recovery survive the move together.
The Garage owns the response. Every Night Ash vehicle, route kit, tool, and cosmetic in BUILD will receive a durable internal equipment record before any chain connection is considered. That record will identify the operator, current state, allowed transfer, repair history, and compatible routes. Official Record will expose only the public portion, keeping operational ownership legible without publishing a member's unrelated history.
Xai Connect already provides email-based onboarding and a unified wallet identity across Xai games and applications. That live capability is the strongest fit for preserving a recognizable operator while interfaces change. Night Ash is evaluating it for identity continuity, but equipment ownership is still BUILD, Xai settlement is ROADMAP, and chain rewards are HOLD. A local browser item or $XAI score must never be presented as an onchain asset before those states change.
Portable equipment should create freedom, not a longer list of recovery fears. Night Ash is designing the Garage so a trusted object can follow its adult operator from Arcade preparation to a Redline trial and back into the record without losing context. Once that closed loop works locally, the organization can test wider ownership rails with evidence instead of hope.
